Anna Wood
I am a Design Engineer at Auer Precision in Mesa, Arizona, spending my days designing products and tooling with SolidWorks. I spec and maintain the CAD workstations that we use in our engineering group. CAD data management is another area that I oversee at Auer.
Started out my career in mechanical design many moons ago before the age of computers. Learned the trade back in Michigan, working in the automotive industry, as a product designer creating Class A sheet metal, interior trim and instrument panel designs for the GM Truck Group.
I blog about CAD design, computers and other technology that interests me.
I also am Group Leader for the Phoenix Metro Area SolidWorks User Group.
I am an aviation nut. Have my pilot’s license (although it has been a while since I have flown). With interests in Steel Tube and Fabric, Homebuilts, Aerobatics and Air Racing.
